Progress!

I just wanted to show a few work in progress pictures of the doll I am currently working on.  This doll is also the doll shown being made in my latest Bjd tutorial, Sculpting a BJD in Polymer Clay: Advanced Techniques.  I will be releasing this tutorial around May 15.  Currently however, I am taking pre-orders.  You can find the link here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/99172732/new-sculpting-a-bjd-in-polymer-clay

I will be finishing the doll, at least the sculpting and painting this week, I should think...depending on my week! lol!  I will post more wip pics as I progress.  Thanks for watching!

Now Available for Pre-Order! New "Sculpting a BJD in Polymer Clay: Advanced Techniques" CD Tutorial

Sculpting a BJD in Polymer Clay: Advanced Techniques

This is my latest CD tutorial! It is a continuation form my popular "Sculpting an OOAK BJD using Polymer Clay" tutorial. If you have not purchased the first one, it covers all the basics. I will not be repeating anything other than the clay formula from the first tutorial. So, this CD will cover all NEW information, including a new sculpting chart!  http://www.etsy.com/listing/99172732/new-sculpting-a-bjd-in-polymer-clay

Link to the first tutorial: http://www.etsy.com/listing/69802551/tutorial-cd-sculpting-an-ooak-bjd-using

This all new tutorial covers how to sculpt a more complex, professional looking BJD. Covered in this CD: How to make advanced joints, including "double joints", like those on resin BJD Dolls; My techniques on how to acheive a completely smooth and blemish free surface on your doll. (This is very important if you are going to sell your doll and want to get top dollar, or if you plan on later molding your creation and casting it in either resin or porcelain. *NOTE* I AM NOT COVERING HOW TO MAKE MOLDS OR CASTING YOUR CREATION IN THIS TUTORIAL.) I will be writing a full length book later on this year which will go in depth on BJD making, including making molds. Also included in this tutorial, face-ups and body blushing using pastels and heat set paints!

The doll being sculpted in this tutorial is still being finished, and I am finishing up writing this tutorial as I post this. THIS LISTING IS FOR PRE-ORDERS ONLY. THE TUTORIAL CDS WILL NOT BE MAILED UNTIL AFTER MAY 15, 2012.

I am listing this now for those of you who have contacted me and are anxious to continue on in your BJD making! Those tutorials which are ordered prior to May 15, have top-priority shipping status and will be mailed in the order to which I recieved your pre-order. I will email you and let you know when you can expect to recieve your tutorial CD. This order will depend heavily on how many orders I recieve on pre-order. Thank you again for your interest and support of my work!
